Hello people! What's the recent fighting game that you have been playing? I most have this fond interest on 2D fighting games than those that are rendered in 3D. I know there's nothing wrong with those in 3D but, that's just my preference. They're both good, I should say. Anyway, here's my question for you all. With the fighting games that you have played, which are you better, with a console controller or joy pad as they call it, or the arcade controls or joy stick? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the controllers in which you prefer and don't prefer to use in fighting games? Thanks!

I'm playing King of Fighters '94 on the VC. Takes awhile to get used to. You can use the classic contoller or a Gamecube controller. The classic controller works best. The directional pad on the classic is much better than the one on the GCN controller.

Thanks for responding! ^_^ KoF '94? Hmmm, if I could recall correctly, Robert is still there along with Ryo and Joe too... Sorry for not knowing but what does "VC" and "GCN" stand for? I'm Guessing "Game Cube Nintendo" for "GCN" but I might be wrong..

VC=Virtual Console (Wii) GCN=Gamecube Yeah, I don't know. I've only been playing the game using a few different guys. It's got guys from the Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting games, I believe. It's a challenging fighter, IMO.

Hwoa! That's nice! I didn't know that the Wii can do that. That's a first to my ears. So it can actually play old fighting games like that ^_^
