I think Romo was real awesome in todays game against the Panthers .He looked crisp in his first regular-season start - excluding his first-quarter interception to Panthers cornerback Chris Gambel. He lead the cowboys astonishing comeback in the 2nd half in whcih they scored a record 25 points in the 4th quarter tow in the game 35-14.
Bledsoe is a great qb and has been playin for the cowboys for long. But then Romo seemed to be able to prevent sacks(had just one sck in the game) had 270 yds passing and more importantly was able to surprise the panthers defence by mixing it up well.
Paracel made the right decision by starting with romo and having him in there for the entire game .
do you think its time Romo took over the mantel of starting qb for cowboys from Bledsoe?

My personal opinion is Bledsoe is dried up. He has done a great job but it is time for someone new to come in. I think Romo did a great job yesterday and proved that he can carry the "boys" this season. As for teh Super Bowl, well, I don't think it is the Cowboys year.

I think Bledsoe would be a good fit for a team that either has a great offensive line or has an offense that uses short-quick passes. But, I do think he'll be retiring after this season.

I think your right I think this is his final year. He had a great run during his time, though. Not as good as my boy Troy Aikman but he did do good....lol.

He definitely has a lot more mobility than Bledsoe did. That can be a good thing or a bad thing. It's good he can avoid defenders. But, young quarterbacks tend to want to run the ball rather than wait in the pocket. That leads to injuries.

I really believe letting a quarterback use his legs in the NFL slows their development as a passer. This isn't college, defenses know how to defend against mobile QBs and are fast enough to do it. If a quarterback doesn't learn to sit in the pocket and go through his reads first, he's not going to win too many games.
I'll use Michael Vick as an example. He's an exciting player to watch when he runs the ball and is dangerous on his legs. He hasn't even come close to winning a championship because nobody respects him as a passer.
Donovan McNaab was in this same category until he learned to pass first, run second.

Micheal vick doesn't need that respect he sales out the games and they get to the playoffs. Remember just a year ago i think it was they were one game away from the superbowl. He has proven the last 2 weeks that he can throw in the pocket and make passes. This might not be college ball but look how many people can't stop vick he makes it look like he is still playing college ball. Peyton manning the best qb in the league won't be getting that ring anytime soon because in the playoffs he gets sacked. If he was a mobile qb he could move around a bit this is a new generation of qb's.

Romo is over rated and is gonna fail badly in the next few weeks. How dare they beat my carolina panthers like that ...lol. That was bad playing on are part not great playing on his. The panthers need to recover ya'll just caught us in a weak moment. We don't have any good teams in the carolina's now the panthers lose to this joke of a qb :( .

lqtm ......Romo sure is overrated .....all players dallas cowboys have are overrated ....Is it because the coqwboys can afford to pay them if they want them or is it just because they let the other teams pick from the rest :P
jus kiddin .....yup the panthers defense was @ its worst and prolly keeshan was missing(or prolly forgot he was not) playing 4 the cowboys:)
