I use Facebook because it's a great way to keep in touch with people. I don't really like talking on the phone, and there's a lot of people that live far away, so it's nice to keep in touch with people on Facebook.

I use facebook because it is a great way to keep in touch with my out of town friends and relatives. I don't really get into all the applications and I keep my profile private and certain things can only be seen by my friends who I knbow personally. I do have a couple of the applications though, booze mail, I love Tim Hortons and sticky notes and also a couple of the money making applications. I have yet to make some money for them lol. But I do enjoy keeping in touch with close friends and family this way! I also have a site on it facebook for my one passionate interest, my daytime soap, General Hospital!

I also use it really just to keep in touch with friends, especially those who are far away in other countries. It's a great way to see what everyone else is up to in their lives, and who's engaged, with kids...

yes, i think one of things that i like in such social networking sites like facebook is that i can contact not only new members and make friends, but find those who i knew when i was much yanger - at kindergarden or school, now they all grow up and girls/boys is serious womans/mans. it is nice to talk with them and see how they are changed for this past years.

Why do I use it? Lots of reasons actually...its fun, its safer and IMO better than Myspace and Vampfreaks. I've reconnected with NUMEROUS friends I'd not seen or had contact with in 15+ yrs and the list goes on...

I registered with facebook not long ago (like a few days ago) and I haven't really experienced everything there. I use it mostly because I have friends who use it regularly and she wants me to join and also, I want to promote my website there. I kind of like the idea that you could post "stories" on your page too!
