First off, you need to talk to him and let him know you need help. He may not realize you want help if you haven't told him. Ask him to do some things. If you have done the above and he didn't work. Tell him that you are no longer going to do certian things for him unless he helps out - like washing his clothes. This lightens your load even if he doesn't help out.

Convince him. List out the jobs and and share the responsibilities. Assign him what he can do better. Tell him without him, you just cannot do.
