My cake and ice cream day is coming, Happy Birthday to me!

I used to sing that as a little kid so no one would forget my birthday. February 2nd of 2008, I will be half a Century Old. Happy Birthday to me, I'm as Ancient as I can be, Happy Birthday to me. Any words of advise from older people? Any congrats from younger? So what do you think same agers? Have fun with this.

LOL i'm as ancient i can be?? how can you sing that?? you should say i'm as young as i can be. ^__^ but then, i'm half your age, a quarter of a century, and i already feel old. .

most of the times i don't really think about my age. but there are times that i can't really help it. ^__^;; i didn't really realized that i'm already a quarter of a century until i read your post. i thought about my 25th birthday as my silver birthday but i never really thought about it being a quarter of a century.^__^;;

I felt the best of my life at 30. But from 35 on, I started to get tired. So don't worry about 30, it's just a number. The tired age is different for all of us. 1/4 a century, most people in their 20s don't realize that. For me 3/4 century is next. Take care and thanks!

Happy early Birthday to you, happy early birthday to you. I think 50 was harder than 60. At 50 I began to think about what I've done with my life. Was there anything else I wanted to accomplish. When I turned 60 I began to think more about my Will and my final resting place. Things are in order so our girls won't have to do anything except bury us. I know this sounds depressing but it's reality.
Now for the good news, I'm going to enjoy every waking second. Am going to go to the casinos and play Keno. Am going to any and all parties. Am going to spend as much time as possible with our kids, when they aren't working. And, am going to visit our grandkids more often. They are out of state. Am going to continue to work part time until my back can't handle it any longer. Have no interest in retiring. Life can be "phun" and you better believe I am going to enjoy it to the very fullest.
Enjoy your big day this weekend. Let your hair down and roll with the punches...lol

Yes, really thinking about these things since my car accident. Want to have my burial stuff and Will in order. Not much money right now.
If I can get over my back problems or at least get it tolerable, I want to have fun and live life just like you!
I want to work at least part-time, but from now until 55, I need to be working full-time, at 55 I can partially retire. Take care and I enjoyed your response.

Happy early birthday. Make sure to get as much cake and ice cream as possible. You're 50, so it doesn't matter if your teeth rot out your mouth from way too much sugar, you're allowed to have dentures. Right now, I'm almost half your age (I'll be 24 in April). Isn't February 2nd Groundhog's day? That'd be cool, because you can pretend that everybody is actually celebrating your birthday, they just don't know it yet. ^_^ Again, happy birthday! *throws confetti all over the place*

Thanks! Yup, I always tell people that I was almost a ground hog!
Don't tell my dentist all that. He's having a fit because I had one tooth pulled (besides my wisdom teeth when I was your age).

Hey Happy Birthday to you! Yea having cake and ice cream is good and wish you have a great day! Hope you could eat till you drop! I didn't have any cake on my birthday but I had a bunch of chocolate fudge ice cream and it's my favorite! Hope you happy birthday and may all your wishes come true!

Thank you very much. Went out to dinner with my husband. My desert at our neighborhood restaurant was free cause it was my birthday. I think I came close to eating until I dropped and I think I undid all the good my diet had done. Take care and thanks!
