lotteries, casino, gambling

In Quebec our lotteries and casino is government run by the province.
My question to you is:
1 - do you think gambling run by the government is good for the community or not - give reasons
2- Does the impact that the government has upon gambling, help or worsen the common person's gambling habits? - give reasons
3- Do you gamble, go to the casino or buy lottery tickets? How often do you do it?
