you let them sleep with a pillow at night? I do not remember when my 8 year old started using a pillow. My 1 year old daughter loves to lay her head on pillows on the floor, but I have not let her have one in bed yet. What age did you let your kids have a pillow?

As far as safety goes, I think by about a year, when they are sleeping with blankets, it is safe to have a small pillow. But they probably won't want it or need it until later. My son (16 months old) uses one now and then but he moves around so much at night that he's not on it for long.

I started my kids at the age of three. They let me know when they were ready to start sleeping with a pillow also. My two year old daughter doesnt sleep with a pillow so I hope once she turns three in April she will show intrest in wanting to sleep with one. Right now she doesnt like any type of pillow and makes a big deal about having to use so I just let her sleep without one.
