Answers from people on disability or with close friends/family on disability only please. Is you disability check enough to live off of? How much is your check per month? What state are you in? What is the poverty level where you live? (normal is $12.000) Do you have to get help from friends and family to make ends meet? What is your disability? The purpose of these questions is to gather data to present to the congressman who handles disability (I managed to get his info after going through a bit of red tape) in order to get disability raised so we can at least live as normal of a life as possible despite our disabilities! You need not say your name or any identifying information, just what you feel comfortable sharing. I thank you in advance for any responses, this will help me push for the needed raise in benefits.
