Fear of failure or rejection keep me from reaching my full potential. Sometimes I feel brave enough to lay the fear aside and make the effort required to reach my goal.
Hope is the driving force in my life -- it keeps me going.

Thank you for your comments. Another person (I think Tony Robbins) states that fear is

I would have to say on a personal note that fear is a deterrant for me, I rather take the easy way out than to go along the rocky road of fear, I know that sounds like cowardice but I like a nice, stressful, relaxing path in life, I don't like to choose the roads that lead to fear I will take the next road along to avoid it and will turn back if fear becomes or gets too close. Some people enjoy facing their fears, I prefer to shy away from them

Only in two occasions.
1. I am half way around the world and don't know the driving customs. Morocco was crazy. Where one person is supposed to be turning there will be three lined up. And this is the norm. They know the... unsaid rules, I don't.
2. If you have to drive on the left. England, Jamaica, British Virgin Islands and a couple more countries drive on the left.
No way am I driving where they drive the wrong way.
