Why do women get mad when they boyfriends play video games?

They're jelous because their husbands are interested in the games instead of simply revolving around them like the rest of the world supposidly does.

They see it as direct competition in more than one way. On one hand the games take time from the relationship, or really it occupies the time between when she wants to see him till the time when she gets bored of him for the day. On another hand, the games are a way for him to enjoy time and it could be threatening for some women (having fun without her). Yet another way of thinking is that women think the games are unneeded or are bad influence. It can be similar to him hanging out with his friends depending on the woman and the situation overall.

Whenever my boyfriend plays games while I'm at his house I play games on my Nintendo DS. :) That's why he got it for me! I usually get pretty into it though, I love watching him play a few games but some of them I could care less about. I don't care at all though, I think it's a good hobby for him to like, it's a lot better than some things he could be doing. When we aren't hanging out, I definitely like when he spends the night playing games instead of going to the bar!
