The family of criminals

Since the families are responsible of raising their children, then do you think the families of criminals should also take responsibility in the law?

well heck lets dont stop with the parents lets get the aunts,uncles,cousins,friends and teachers also(wow i could go on and on)i hope i never get held responsible for what another INDIVIDUAL does,regardless of their relation to me.so the answer to your question is NO

Calm down ddzdvd :) Thanks for your answer, I partially agree with your response. I think if the child is not old enough to make his/her own decisions then the parents should take some of it.

I think it depends on the situation. Sometimes parents do the best they can and still end up with a child who does bad things. However, if there has been child abuse or neglect, they should be held responsible.

Yes, what an unfortunate situation it would be when you are trying to adopt a good child and he/she does bad things... +

I don't think so....I think that it's the parents job to raise them for eighteen years and raise them so they will make the right descisions in live. The parents can't control what the child does after he/she is eighteen or older. I think until the child reaches 18 that it is the parents responsibility but once the child is 18 or older it is completely up to the child to do the right thing(s)in life!
