Another shoe discussion!!

I was curious to see how many people wear the same pair of shoes every day? This being either to work or if you stay at home. Do you wear just one pair each day or do you swap them up and wear different shoes each day of the week, perhaps to match your outfit? I usually stick with 3 or 4 pairs a week and it does depend on what I'm wearing for the day. Right now the weather is a big factor in which shoes I wear. If it is cold, I will pull out my shearling lined boots or another pair of boots that will go with dress clothes. If it is warm, I will even try a pair of Nothinz with socks. And for around the house it is sandals or flip flops! I can't wait for summer!

I am a flip flop and cowboy boot girl. I wear my flip flops around the house and wear my cowboy boots when I have to go somewhere. Of course during rainy season, we live in the swamp, I have to wear mud boots every time I go outside.

Like you, I have several pairs of shoes. Not that I buy them all but others give them to me. I have four pairs of tennis shoes, a pair of hiking boots and winter snow boots and God only knows how many heels I have that I hardly EVER wear anymore. I wear mostly tennis shoes or my hiking boots all week. Around the house it's socks or barefoot.

I haven't been wearing heels much either. I have a nice pair of dress boots that have about a 2.5 inch heel and that has been working for me this winter. No dresses in cold weather...I'm a wimp that likes to stay warm!

If a wimp likes to stay warm in the winter then I'm a wimp too!! LOL That's why I live in the south!! The winters are much milder than the northern states. Nothing could get me to move up there!! LOL

I wear the same style of sandals year-round, but I have an extra pair to wear for when I wash the others and have to let them dry.

I have many pairs of shoes. But I usually stick to 4 pairs. My school shoes have 3-inch heels so its not advisable to wear it on shopping sprees. I usually wear either my jelly flats or my chucks when going out on weekends.

I have more than one pair of shoes but I tend to wear the same ones all the time. That's because they are easy to put on, they're slip ons. I guess I need to get a little inspired.

I wear either boots or runners these days. The weather hasn't been great so thus the reason for the boots. And as I'm trying to get fit and lose weight I resort to wearing the runners when the boots are hung up. I can't wait for the summer either. I seem to have lots more suitable clothes and shoes for warm weather than I do for cold.

We had a ton of rain in January, so I know what you mean there. Hopefully, we will have an early spring without that last cold snap in March and April!

Count me as one who wears the same pair to work everyday! I have about 4 different high heeled black shoes but I only wear them on days where I feel like being dressy, or I have important meetings. Otherwise, it's the short (1") heels every day for comfort. My office is never warm so I can never wear my sandals! Dang it!! But in the summer I try to wear my sandals out and about as much as I can to get the most use out of them.

I don't blame you for wanted to stay comfortable at work. I'm the same way. I rarely buy any heel over 2 inches now and most of the time that is a wedge heel.

since i work part time outside of the house, i have to be dressed fairly well (no jeans) in the winter i wear cords and in the summer, skirts and capris. i have unlined dress boots that i generally wear with my cords or loafers and in the summer i wear sandles (its cheaper and easier to exchange shoes in the summer - you can get a pair of flip flops for a few dollars!)

Maybe that is part of the appeal of sandals? They are cheap and we can have more for little money??

I have two pairs of shoes I wear for the winter and several pairs of sandles for the summer. I cannot handle the flipflop between my toes.

I think if you aren't used to the flip flops as a kid, you find them uncomfortable later in life.

I have many pairs of shoes and sometimes I wear more than one pair a day. But almost every single day I wear my cream and baby blue Diesel shoes at some point. They are my favorite shoes because they just slip on, with a young toddler ease is key in my life right now! I actually need to get a new pair because these are starting to look worn out since I wear them so often.

I only wear runners most days. I have two pairs that I switch back and forth. Both are really good pairs and I switch them so they will last longer. I do own a couple pairs of other shoes, dress shoes, and I only wear them when I am wearing dress slacks when I go out, which these days hasn't been much. I used to wear heels and now i suffer with really bad toes and feet because of them. I don't wear heels anymore.

I used to wear heels every day when I was younger. I think I ruined my feet too by wearing shoes that were too small. I know that I won't consider a show now if it is uncomfortable.

Yes, I wear my black wedge heel boots practically every day.

I prefer to stick to the same shoes every day, because my feet are prone to blisters, so once I get a pair that are comfortable and do not cause blisters then I will wear them all the time! I hate buying new shoes because I might as well put razor blades in my socks! I find that trainers are easier on my feet but they do sweat a lot in them. I like slip ons for the ease of putting on shoes but they tend to rub me more than lace ups for some reason.

I wear my slippers around the house. As for outside, because it's winter I have a pair of those boots you can tuck your pant legs in. And when I get to school I put on a pair of flats. Summer time I wear my flip flops. I looooooove getting tanned around my feets. I think it's because I get the sock line any other time of year so in the summer I like to even it out. :)

Those are awesome boots and keep you warm! I got a pair of sheerling lined boots this year and I've loved pulling them out on cold days. Our weather has been really weird with a lot of days with temps in the 60's and 70's...but I'm not complaining about that! I hate cold weather!

I wear a few different pairs a week, but that's because I'm kinda picky about my shoes. They have to go with my entire outfit, and there is a pair of shoes for most of my combinations in my closet right now. In any given week, I might wear about 4 or 5 different pairs of shoes, based on what I plan on wearing normally. Weather is a big factor, because there are shoes that I don't like wearing in the rain, while there are others specifically for that type of weather. LIke I said, I guess it depends on a weekly basis...

Oh I totally agree with you. You can't wear your good shoes out in the rain! I always have a couple of pairs of "go with anything" shoes that can't be damaged for rainy days. We have been having more than our share of those here lately.

I have a couple pairs that I usually wear- and many "dressy" shoes that I rarely wear. I wish I had a reason to, LOL. My favorite shoes I bought in both black and brown so I can wear them with anything. I'm like you, though, I'm a flip flop girl and I always buy tons of cute flip flops beacsue they're so cheap! So come on, summer!

I have one pair of shoes that I wear for work only. They were expensive but are very comfortable as I am on my feet for nine hours. When not working I alternate between my favorite boot shoes that I wear with jeans or colour co-ordinated shoes if wearing a skirt. Have most colours. Prefer lower heels for comfort but have some really lovely black and silver stilettos which have a matching bag an accessories which dress up a plain black dress just right. Like one of your other responses can't wear flip flops in summer as irritate toes, but can't wait for the sunshine either wear I wear mules
