Do You Still Buy CDs?

With the digital age and having mp3s available online (either legally or illegally) and having online music streaming programs, do you still pony up the $15 or so to purchase a new CD. You can cut and paste parts of a CD you like and just buy them per song and burn a compilation CD very easily. However it seems as though there are still people who do, as albums are still hitting platinum status and artists are obviously still making money. Are you one of those people that still buy albums? I know there are a lot of us out there that believe that these artists are making a ton of money, but I still like to support the craft and the artists that make this good music. So, buy the album or download it somewhere?

I have Rhapsody, so if I listen to an entire cd and like it, then I buy it at the store (for cheaper) than buying it online. Then I download the whole thing to my Ipod. My cousin is in a fairly well known band, signed with Columbia. I know for a fact that they are seriously not making big money. With each label, a handful of select artists make the money, the rest are still just struggling, even with their contract.

No, I do no longer buy CDs. I download songs that I like online, then I burn my own CDs. But most of the time, after downloading songs, I copy it to my mobile phone or just play all the songs in my PC.

It depends on the cd. If I only like 2 songs from a CD which has.. let's say 23 tracks I won't buy it. But if it's from a band/singer/... I absolutley love I will buy it no matter what. To be honest it's not always like that. I often buy cds also when I only like 2 songs 'cause I know when I listen to the album over and over again I will like most of the tracks. One little note: I think this question was asked so many times that I start to get tired LoL

I still buy CDs. I believe in having a hard copy. I don't believe the artists are earning a ton of money. Most of it goes to the record studio. I support the creativity. That's why it's okay. I mean if I ever was a musician or writer, it's the only way I'm gonna earn. And I worked hard for it, hence I deserve to be paid. :-)
