I am normally a winter person who loves the chill in the air and when it snows I don't think there is anything on earth as lovely. But yesterday with the wind chill factor down in the -30's...well enough is enough. I don't really believe in what the groundhog's theory is but I would like it if we didn't have six more weeks of winter! Are rooting for the groundhog to see his shadow or not?

I am ready for spring. Our winter consists of one day being in the 60's, then the next day it's in the teens. it's caused everyone to be sick. On the days that it's cold, it's unbearable cold. The winds last night was awful. up to 80mph winds.
i feel for you. I've lived up north and the snow is beautiful, but not when it's that cold.
i vote for no more winter. lol

Oh I totally agree with wanting Spring to come soon!!! We live about 1/2 hour away from where Punxytawney Phil looks for his shadow in PA each year! It has been very cold here so who knows what he will see tomorrow!
I'm ready for Spring!!!

I like fall and spring.Winter always has the threat of snow and when it snows here, everything stops.I always hope for winter will have a early end.

I am so tired of winter too. I love the snow for a while but I am so done with it. I am ready for green grass and flowers. I am ready to plant my garden and sit out on the grass and watch the kids play. I am eagerly waiting for spring.

Being from Pennsylvania I am always interested in what Puxatawny Phil has to say but trust me he is wrong quite often. I love the snow here in Wisconsin (moved here 6 years ago) and finally understand what the person who wrote the song Walking in a Winter Wonderland meant when they said about the snow glistening. In Pennsylvania the snow is most often a wet snow and heavy but here in Wisconsin it is light and fluffy and it looks like thousands of tiny diamonds sparkling on it when the sun hits. I could really live without the wind chills here as I have never been in weather temperatures below zero like we have been having here.

Yes...sometimes you feel like you don't even have any clothes on. The other day when the wind was howling and it was snowing and blowing...my usually very warm winter coat felt like it was a windbreaker! Hope it's easing it's way out! Thanks for posting!

I usually like the cold to and I actually still do enjoy cooler weather. I just have a problem with the wind. The wind seems to just cut right through me. I would much rather be cool than to hot. As far as the groundhog is concerned I don't think I want six more weeks of winter, but I would like to see another good snow here in Virginia.
