My Brother

January 30, 2008 9:14am CST
My brother lives and works aboard, For the last 6 years he has been living in the south of France. This means that i do not get to see my Brother that often only proberly a couple of times a year. My brother is going back tomorow after coming home to spend Christmas and New Year with us. It has been wonderful seeing him and spending some time with him. I was wondering do you have siblings that lives miles apart from you and do you miss them.? Tonight the whole Family are going for a meal with him to say goodbye once more as it will be a long time before we all see him again.

Hi blondegirl 1975, it usualy happens to lot of peoples. you are missing your brother for long time but there are some girls who miss their husband and even not able to see them for more than a year. One of my brother is working in merchant navy, he usualy joins with an agreement for minimum two years. so whenever he will go his wife remains at home for all that long time, even sometimes she did not receive phone calls for more than a month, when they are in sea and network is not their. it happens with many peoples and the hope of coming back and for the better tomarrow every one has to sacrifice in one way or other.

I moved about 475 miles away from my hometown when I was about 20, to get a job. My sister and Mom are still there and I miss them and feel like we have grown apart a little through the years, but I still make it home at least once a year to visit.
