How many of you or your friends visited dating websites and actually found true love.Not everyone on those sites are sincere.My uncle has gotten scammed time and time again through those sites.He will always start talking to a lady who tells him her mother needs surgery or some such thing and ask him for money.As soon as he sends the money he never hears from her again.Yes,I know he is really stupid for sending money to someone hes never met but he doesnt listen to reasoning from anyone. So oh well its his money going down the drain.

not at all , actually never seeked , i am committed with her since from my college days , so hope others people are seeking and converting it to reality....

Don't know what to tell you about the whole uncle thing. He should know better by now about sending money to women, especially over the internet. I would never do such a thing.
As far as friends meeting someone on the internet it was actually my mother. She met a guy on one of those dating sites where you have to pay for your memberships and they have been happily married for over 2 years now.
Not all relationships turn out that way though. Gotta expect that there are scammers everywhere. Most of them do it for other reasons that what you listed above about the fake surgeries.

Well, I know people who found true love on the internet, but you got to go to certain sites, were people are actually looking for love and not lust
