Thanks to the member who started a discussion on money saving tips around the house. This prompted me to write an article for Triond. http://www.gomestic.com/Homemaking/10-Money-Saving-Household-Tips.78535 Note: I didn't use anyone else's tips from that discussion, only my own money saving tips that I use in my home. Thanks everyone for your support!

I learned some new tips in your blog that I hadn't heard before. Like putting a towel in with your clothes and they dry quicker. Though I like this idea, I would think that the lint from the towel would get onto other clothes.

I have never noticed any lint from the towel. Lint in the dryer goes into the lint trap. I heard this trick a long time ago and am surprised to hear of so many people that have never heard of it. Thanks for your responses.

One way I save money on groceries is by printing coupons online from smartsource, com and coupons.com. I check these sites before I buy groceries. I save an average of 8 dollars with coupons from these sites. Also check out my blog I've got more money saving tips on it. It's www.savethatmoney.blogspot.com/

Thanks for the sharing the Article. Honestly, I know some of those tips and actually doing it our of common sense. With our present financial situation, it's our job as wives to help our husband to save money especially if only one is working like in my case. I'm a new wife too so hangging out here really helps me in the adjustment period. Thanks again.
