Short or long hair?

I have long hair below the shoulder too. Personally I prefer long hair but if I want a change someday (hopefully soon!) I will get my hair cut short. I like to wear my hair in different styles, cant stand to have the same hairstyle for a long time- very boring haha! but i think it depends on individual preferences- some girls like their hair long, some like it short etc. we shouldnt let others be the judge of how we should wear our hair. if our other half likes our hair to be long but we like it short, then by all means have short hair. we're supposed to be loved for who we are and our personality, not our hair ;)

my opinion bout girls or woman with long hair: I think its normal image for the girls and woman. Sometimes it doesn't fit with the image of the girl or woman. Most of the guys like long hair,im one of them. Not saying that girl/ woman with short hair its ugly, but its difficult to describe. Maybe pure nature?

When I was younger I used to have hair half-way down my back. Now that I'm older I keep it about shoulder length, it's much easier to take care of. I've only ever had it short once, and that was by accident. My Aunt had made me an appointment at a hair salon (I was about 19) to get a 'trim'. When I felt the stylist take a big snip at the nape of my neck and come out with about 18" of hair, I almost freaked! Trim my eye! It didn't look good short at all, and it made me look like I was in grade school, not college hahaha. I believe in wearing a style that's appropriate for your bone structure, not something just because current style dictates it. Some women look great in short hair, others don't.

In a males opinion I really do think that a woman looks best whenever she has long hair...like you said especially if she knows how to take care of it....I don't know what it is but alot of guys really do like women with longer hair better...but I also think that its up to the woman....if she likes her hair shorter than she should have her hair cut to a shorter length if thats what makes her feel better about herself....just my personal taste but I really do like women who have long hair alot more..but again its up to the women

I have always had a hair just below my shoulders so I can tie it up in a ponytail. I really don't like my hair going to my face. It is just irritating to the skin. I don't maintain a very long hair because my hair is so thick. Saves me on shampoo and conditioner. I don't often go to the parlor for a haircut. I usually go when I'm fed up with my current hair do or my hair has gone really long just to avoid split ends. Cutting my hair really depends on my mood. Like you I sometimes cut it off really short. However, I don't cut my hair on my own if I don't want to end up in a disastrous hairdo.
