i am home today because i picked up some sort of bug that my daughter had, so i decided to have soup for lunch (i am eating home made ox tail soup that my mother in law made)
i am getting my 14 year old daughter to peel potatoes for the soup i started yesterday (she is home from school due to the end of the semester - new semester starting on friday) we will be having beef/barley soup for supper...
do you make your own soup? do use store bought canned soup? do you like soup? my father in law loves soup so much he eats all year round (i am talking about the middle of summer when its 90 degrees+!)
i like soup, but not that much...its a good meal and not that expensive to make, healthy and filling and good on a cold canadian winters night...
how bout you?

I love soup... i always cook them for me and my baby... i haven't tried ox tail soup but it sounds interesting... i always make vegetable soup... so that no vegetables will get rotten in the apartment... i would add meat like ground pork, beef, or chicken...
Vegetable soup is very healthy to the body... and i would recommend it to those who desperately want to lose weight...

We don't eat soup that often. It is good when it's really cold outside though. It just kinda warms you up. We usually buy the canned soup just because it's quick and I don't usually make homemade soup.

I make soup all the time... sometimes its the 20 minute kind, sometimes it simmers all day. I made a big pot for my party last Saturday and finally finished it yesterday... vegetable and meatball... SO good! So I made a quick broccoli and cauliflower with whole-grain pasta for dinner tonight... Hun and the kids are all crazy about my soups...
