I have had Comcast for years. We used to rent the new releases on OnDemand all the time. Recently I noticed that they have raised the price to 4.99 per movie. In our area you can rent a movie at a video store for half that price. How does OnDemand justify their prices?

I think Comcast charges way too much for all of their services in general. I can provide electric to my whole house for less than they charge me to provide cable for one television. It seems outrageous to me.

Yes you are right. Comcast has raised the OnDemand prices. That is the same price for Block Busters here in south Florida. However, OnDemand dose not work all of the time. For the most part it is always down. Of course it dose no good to call them as they just tell you that there is nothing that can be done about it.

I also have had comcast digital cable for about 4 to 5 years now. I dont remember the movies being cheaper then $4.00 But thats not bad since blockbuster you pay about $4.00 But the best deal is those red boxes at grocery stores where you pay $1 per day to rent dvds. Now thats a good deal. But the only complaint I have about comcast is it should be 2 days at least per rental and you should be able to rent it as soon as the movies come out on dvd.
