Just Like Grandpa Bob

HAHAHAHA! yeah my 2 grandsons are just like me. They are lazy when they want to be which is quite often. This is just one example of how they are like me in ways. They come to visit every other Saturday and sometimes Sundays. They are always asking to install one of their games on my puters to play. Or they ask to play one of the casino slot games I have installed. then they will lie around on the couch and watch TV all day if they could. They both love the Cartoon Network the most it seems. I do the same when I am not on myLot. I will sit around playing my games or watching the TV. I seldom watch the Cartoon netwrok though. So how much are your grandkids just like you? Or your own kids if you have no grandchildren.

No grandchildren yet! Too young for that!
I have 2 boys - the older one takes after me...and I can read his thoughts! He is so like me in so many things that I can't believe it myself.
But the second one takes after his dad! And both of them drive me nuts..lol (kidding) But I can see that they are very similar...and the little one looks like a miniature of his dad!
The older one's interests are also similar to mine...reading, drawing...etc. The little one is a typical active boy and has the same interests as his dad.

I became a grandpa at the ripe young age of 45 so it's never

Its funny how we see how our kids or grandkids are like us. Obviously I dont have grandkids yet, with my eldest being 14 years old. But she is like me in many ways.
Her maths teacher told me last year that "she is a perfectionist & so am I."
She also has a tendancy to speak her mind & talk too fast, which she gets from me also.

I find myself looking and acting more like my father in my years as well. Ughh! Sigh!! HAHAHAHA!! Your daughter is a great child from all I know about her from here etc. tell her to keep up the great work. She still working part time then also?

She worked her last day, last thursday. The new school year started three days ago. I wont allow her to work during term time. She is hoping to get the same job, or another job in the 2 week April holidays.

It's gotten to the point that I have to share my puter with my daughter or I hear about it. Soooooo...I'll spend some time on here while she is out playing, doing chores, or watching her tv shows. Then I'll get off and go do my chores or watch tv while she comes in here to play her games or surf the net.

I have to let the grandsons load and play their games when they visit. But they love it so I allow it most times. Noone else used the puter but me at home. The wife gets on it maybe once a month if that.

Ali Lou does stamping and making projects in my stamping studio. She makes little cards and uses tons of grandma's paper and loves sparkly dots....she loves to bake cookies with me....I do love baking. She helps me cook too..and I love to cook when I have company. She is alot like me because she spends quite a bit of time here....we both enjoy that!

My eldest grandsons seems to have taken on my green thumb as well. he loves gardening and asks for some of my plants each year. I gave him a lot of Lily seeds last year and I hope they grow for him this summer.

You're funny, Grandpa Bob! :) I was trying to imagine you, lying on the couch, trying to relax and watching the Cartoon Network!My son alternatly do two things. Watch his favorite cartoon videos or play in the computer. He's 4 years old and most of the time, he watches funny animated cartoons in YouTube. I can't expect him to help me clean the house for now, but I did teach him to pick up his toys after being done with them. So as to minimize my chores.
So, I guess that kind of relaxation, and watching TV applies to my husband. When he's off duty from work, he either lies down on the bed, watching TV or surfing the Net.
As for me, I do have my moments of laziness. And when I'm like that, either I watch TV, too or surf the Net.

Actually when they are watching the Cartoon Network I am usually playing my slot games on the computer. HAHAHA!

My son is just like me. My husband always picks on me and says he acts just like I do. He even has my little attitude too. lol He doesn't watch too much tv but I usually have the cartoons on for him to see if he wants to. He's definitely not lazy though...he's always into something but that's how most one year olds are.

My son is like me showing the same impulsive/compulsive behaviors. My daughter is like me in that she will argue a point stating she is right always. HAHAHAHA!!

My eldest is more like my ex husband than me in many ways but he is very sociable and likes being involved with other people - he would do anything to help someone out if they needed it! My youngest at 6 on the other hand is more like me than I am! She is sociable, caring, outspoken and most of all she is a twisted little madam who loves to have the last word! lol xxx

I find since I am working part time I am doing less in the home. When I go into the office I am trashed when I get home. My dizziness is back so I am spending more time laying on the couch when I am spinning. Some days I have had trouble walking again. Last winter I was using a walker to get around because of the dizziness. I hope it does not get that bad again.

it's great to hear that you are so close to your grandsons. there is nothing like lazing around with grandparents who love you.
these days some kids have so much schoolwork, and so much extra curricular activities like tuition, learning to play the piano, swimming lessons, that they don't really have time to get a real childhood. your grandsons seem to having a great one too! not sure when I'll get grandkids, but we'll see!

They love spending the weekend with myself and the wife. we let them get away with a lot more than their mom does. Typical grandparents huh? Hee hee hee!!
