I watched an interesting episode on Oprah today. A guy called Peter, stated that, "The kitchen reflects who you are as a person. He also said if want to be leaner and lose weight you need to have a clutter free kitchen." I found this topic very fascinating. Who agrees with this statement? What is the state of you kitchen ? Is it organised and clutter free? Do you think it reflects who you are? My kitchen used to be a bit unorganised, but never too bad. However i noticed when I did sort out all the cupboards properly, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Then I noticed I started to be more organised in other areas of my life. Not sure If I could say that it helped with weight loss though, lol.

There is actually a point out there. It can be well said that somehow it reflects you as person more particularly your health. As you can see, the food we eat is actually prepared in the kitchen. From the cleanliness as well as our health most likely will be reflected on how we organized and what things, food we store in our kitchen. Say for example you have such a dirty kitchen, this may result to poor heath since your food may be contaminated by some bacterias and other disease causing germs. The kind of food you store in your kitchen will also reflect your health. Let say most of the stuff in your kitchen are junk foods and foods high in cholesterol. Obviously these are the very things you are putting in your body and somehow to a certain degree it will affect your health. So I believe under the health setting it your kitchen will reflect you as a person.

Thanks for your comments, I guess I was not looking at it from that perspective about the germs and the food contained in the cupboards and fridges. But it makes alot of sense what you are saying. On the show they were mainly talking about clutter in the cupboards and benches reflects who you are. But thanks for that information, very interesting.
