I can't get enough of watching Dr.Phil. I can't figure out what it is about the show that keeps me watching. I think it's the fact that he talks about stuff thats real. All you have to do is watch the show for a week, and your guarenteed to find something on there, that you can relate to. I saw a magazine cover recently in the grocery store with the head line "Dr.Phil and his messy divorce to Robin" I was like what?? LoL is is true?

I think that Dr Phil is right on the money. He dishes out common sense. so many people don't like hem because he doesn't take any guff and sees right threw people.

Hi ChristenBabyy, We get Dr. Phil here in Australia, and I must say that it's en eye-opener to see the skill with which he spins his magic. The man is clearly very good at what he does. Dr. Phil is actually on about midday, followed by a several other must-see programs, one of which is Judge Judy - another professional who is very good at what she does. I'd hate to have her as my Grandmother - nothing gets past her! Dr. Phil show is a little along the lines of those other pseudo-reality shows where people air their dirty washing in public - like the Jerry Springer or Ricky Lake shows that used to run a few years back. It's to Dr. Phil's credit that he at least provides constructive support and advice to his guests, and doesn't just let them destroy each other on national television like the people on those other shows seemed to do. I'd be curious as to how much the Dr. Phil Show pays it's guests to appear - surely they don't just expose their personal lives to international audience without some sort of monetary consideration? At least, the bad ones in the relationship...

My mother in law got me started on the show when I was 9 months pregnant with my second son. She came out to about 2-3 weeks before I was due and had to watch the show everyday. Now I dvr it. Love it!

I occasionally watch this show. Sometimes it is quite good with very interesting issues. Dr. Phill is quite skilled at what he does. Some of the people he has on the show amaze me as to the complications they get themselves into.

I love Dr. Phil! I try to catch his show every day. I miss it some though. It used to be on at 11 am here, so I could catch it every day. Now they moved it to 3pm. I have to go pick up my daughter at preschool at 3:30. So till I get all the kids ready, go get her and come back, I miss pretty much the whole show. So I usually miss tue, wed and thursdays shows. I wish he would do update shows with some of the people he has on the show. Like the show last season with the husband that had cameras all over the house to watch is wife.

Me and my dad are stuck like glue watching Dr. Phil - haha the same guy I wouldn't expect making his debut in the movie Scary Movie 4 and releasing his humor on the side. But his shows are excellent - it's like every day round 3PM here. The guy got some great tips, help and pointers for people with everyday problems and depending on the certain situations people life face - whether domestic violence, young teens getting in trouble, people with relationship problems, those that are obese and need help to lose weight - it's awesome.

I like Dr Phil, I remember wathing him on Oprah when he first appeared on TV. Can't believe he has been a huge success and has his own show now. He always has lots of interesting stories on his show and advice. However think the poor guy is in threat of losing his spot on TV at the moment, just read in New Idea magazine today that Oprah (his boss) nealy fired him after he made a public statment about Brittany Spears. Not sure exactly what he said, but must have been not very professional. Hope he can sort it out as I do not want the show to be canned.
