Is the mylot digest useful?

I personally advice you to join the digest. It gives you an email with about 5-10 discussions that have to do with your interests. I usually find at least two that I would like to respond to...and normally I probably would not of found those discusssions had it not been for the digest... Hope you enjoy it as much as I do when and if you decide to sign up!

I am not sure how useful it can be. I am asking myself the same question. Can we respond to digest? Can we just read additional email? I think I want to take time off from news, not to bring it to my attention 50 times a day...

Although now that I have a small group of friends with the notify on so I usually just go trough my email and answer their discussions, I still find myLOt digest interesting and I have responded to some discussions from it. I can not advise you one way or the other but personally I find that myLot digest doesn't really harm and doesn't take that my space in my mail box, so I will keep it. I might use it, or not, but I"m keeping it.

I signed up for the digest the other day and so far I haven't found it to be helpful. But I read on the alert that the more interests one has, the more useful the digest can be, so I guess I'll add more to my list of interests and see if that helps. Go ahead and give it a try. Remember you can always unsubscribe from it if you don't like it. :)

Yes, the mylot Digest is VERY useful and let me tell you why. when you start a discussion you get paid according to how much participation that causes = meaning how many responses you get. The Mylot Digest will tell you what the most popular interest groups are, which means if you post discussions in those most popular groups you'll get more responses and more money! I only realized this today. The "Mylot" interest group was at the top of the Mylot Digest this morning when I read it in my email...so I have been sticking to that pretty much except for when I see another discussion that is interesting to me, or if I think of a great discussion question for another interest group.

It is very useful.Selecting the good discussions from it to respond has become my daily routine.

I don't find it useful. I mean all it does it's telling you the most popular discussions from your interests during the last day, isn't in? Well, don't you look at the discussions from your interests everyday without using digest? I've disabled it. I considered it to be a useless mail.

i think it is to some extent.i find it so atleast. say for few discussions taht are really interesting. i answer atleast few from the mylot digest everyday.

I got an e-mail from them the other day asking me to join and I just got my first one and have not read it yet. When I get the time I will do so and get back to you on this one and let you know what I feel about it.

I am glad that they have started sending out the digest. It is useful to me. I go to the discussions that are listed because that makes it easier for me to pick out discussions to respond to. So far all the ones I have gotten up to this date have had discussions that have peaked my interest. It is a good addition to the site. I would say that you will like this addition and find it helpful.

I don't think mylot digest is useful. i cannot find any usefulness! That's my own opinion and you have your choice!

I just delete the mylot digest, I honestly do not see any usefullness to it. I think I might have read one and then proceesed to delete it.
