Nasal Spray for congestion

Once the doctor give me about nasal spray but i think it not good, lot of people said it will be hurt, no any idea about it.

I haven't tried Afrin, although I have friends that use it and are quite satisfied. There's a lot of good decongestants out there that work well. I usually take something oral (pill, capsule or liquid) because it's easier on my sinus. I've also read that you can get used to using the sprays, necessitating the use of more spray because it shrinks the nasal passages so much. I use Dimetapp instead, and if I do use a spray, it's only once or twice.

hello lilybug, I have a lot of trouble with being congested but i dont use the high price nasal sprays as some have ingredients that are addicting, so what I use is saline solution usually can be found for about a dollar. I keep it in the frig as it seems to make it work faster but it works right away and I can than breath freely again in no time.
