To my dear Ron Paul supporters I know that you are out there I have a few questions for you all. First of all let me tell you that I am in need of a candidate. My state will vote Tuesday, and I have no idea how I will vote for. I orginally supported Ron Paul but I changed to Thompson because I thought he would be a more logical choice, but Thompson has dropped out. I cannot vote for McCain, I personally do not think that there is a difference between a Liberal Republican, and a Liberal Democrat. I cannot vote for Huckabee, he was my governor for 10 year(and yes I did vote for him), but he destoried the Arkansas Republican party. So that leaves me with Romney, and Paul. Second of all my problem is not actually with Ron Paul's postions(even though I think a lot of them are unattainable), it is his supporter. Ron Paul has raised Million's of dollars, and still he has not even come close in any of the election. Where is the money coming from. It most not becoming from his voters, because the people giving him money are not voting for him. When he is in a bebate he is always up in the 40's when asked who you think won the debate. Take New Hampshire, he came in fifth, but there where hugh demonstration up there. Why did they not vote for him. Is there something that I do not know. I might be willing to vote for him right down because I am a true conservative, and I fell that my party is moving to far to the left. The only thing holding me back is will is supporters ever show up, and vote for him. I would rather have Romney than McCain, but I have problems with Romney. I just do not want to waist my vote. Is there any Ron Paul suppoters that can help me out there.

Hello Gewcew, I have been following Dr. Paul's newsletter for goin' on a decade. I very much support him as a Congressional Representative, though not for the Presidency. I simply can't, based on his unwillingness to connect the dots between US overseas interests, and the US economy. I personally believe that Dr. Paul does his best work in the House. You raise a very interesting question: If each citizen can only legally give a certain amount of $ to a candidate, then where is all that money coming from? Clearly, there's alot more donating going on than voting. Hmmm, perhaps we need to look for the link to outside of our borders for the answer??? It is very easy to commit campaign fraud without the candidate knowing it. If Romney gets the nod, then this will be the first time I have ever voted, where I didn't need to hold my nose as I pulled the lever. If McCain gets the nod, I'll be looking at the "Constitution Party". Their nominating convention is in Kansas City in April. As much as I agree with many of the points that Dr. Paul makes, I just know that a Paul Presidency would turn the USA toward isolationism, and would result in our enemies around the world plotting on how to stab the last ounce of life out of the stumbling giant. The short answer is, I have no answer for you Gewcew!

The money is coming from newly registered young internet supporters who did not register on time to vote in the primary but will be voting for him in the general election and attending the caucuses. In record numbers. Age 18-30 mostly. Plus some older folks like myself who contributed. My disabled son did too he is 35. Its the little people who have a lot to lose if Hilary or McCain or Obama get in. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/

Look into the New Hampshire primary..there was a bit of scandal there. When only a few counties had reported in, Dr. Paul had X number of actual votes. When all the counties had reported in, Dr. Paul's number of actual votes had dropped! Where did those votes go? His individual contributors have donated enough money for a recount in New Hampshire to figure out what happened there. But he's gaining momentum...He was second in Nevada and 2nd in Louisiana (where scandal is also the word being whispered around). To be honest, though, I don't know where the people are. All of his contributors are regular people, like you and I, who can really only afford to contribute about $100 to a campaign. Maybe those states haven't had their caucus/primary yet. I live in Mississippi and we don't have our primary until March. He has a lot of support here and in Alabama, I know. The republican group in Alabama has already endorsed him. We shall see. I think too many Republicans are swept up by McCain's faux optimism about this war, when in reality, he's stubborn and refuses to admit that this war was a mistake and we should no longer be in there. He's still living in the Vietnam era and doesn't want America to suffer that humiliation again. However noble that may sound, it's dangerous for the US because he has NO exit plan, and intends to stay in there as long as possible. I will vote democrat before I vote for him. He is really frightening.

And remember, a vote for the candidate YOU believe in, is never a wasted vote. Voting for the candidate you think will win, even though you don't agree with them...that's wasting your vote. I'd rather vote for someone that will probably not win as a write-in, than vote for McCain and be responsible for more lives lost.

I can answer your question. First of all let me clarify I am an Independant and after reviewing what all the candidates are about I am backing Ron Paul 100% I am now one of his delegates in Washington State. The polls are lying. He took 46% of the vote in Spokane County alone and 39% of the vote in Eastern Washington over McCain and Huckabee. The Media is not telling the truth they don't want him to be heard nor do his opponents nor do those running in the Republican party like Huckabee and McCain who is the Republican Media sweetheart because he can be bought and is not much different than the Democrats. We are supporting him but most who are voters could NOT vote in the primary they found out because they registered to LATE to vote in the primay but they will be voting for Paul in the General Election enmass and 55% of young voters recently registered are Republican according to ABC news tonight and many like what Ron Paul stands for because it is the issues they are most concerned with. These voters are college age and Seniors in high school and those between 18 and 35. My entire family are supporting Paul In our Washington Caucus yesterday all the delegates nominted were 100% Ron Paul supporters. He is gaining momentum and McCain backers hate it as do Huckabees. Keep watching.

Hi, I would like to say that most of the time i go democrate..but i do not like who's running..I have looked into Ron Paul, he is a local guy,and a doctor...I think Ron Paul will be mine and my husbands choice..One reason we are going this way is because he is a vietnam veteran, and so is my husband and i feel that he knows just what the veterans is gong through right now.nother reason is because he said he was going to bring our men home from Iraq and let them fight their own battles..I like the fact that he is a local guy..This is just a few of the rsaons for what it is worth...My brother in law went to see him and he said he is a down to earth real good guy...
