Is the world ready for a woman presedent? I want to hear what all of you have to say about this! Its Very interesting to know--will She stop the war in Iraq and get the soldiers home? Will the economy drop? What sorts of changes will she bring to U.S.A? To tell you the truth not ALL change is good. I am personally doughful and scared to have a woman presedent. Women win all the arduments right? lol-joke. Anyway, let me know!

yes i think we are ready for a woman president or a black one but not Cliton and not Obama we have a bad choice for our first chance to have a woman president or a black one. they both are not fit in my eyes to be presidents. and the iraq part i dont think she even knows b/c one second she says shes for the war and the next she says shes against the war. its not that shes a woman its b/c shes HILIRY CLITON thats why it will suck if she becomes president. I on the other hand would make a good woman president (no i dont know if im that big of a leader but i know that i would be better than Hillery)

Hillary changes her views and stances as new polls roll in. It will be interesting if she gets in office as you can't always do what the polls tell you to, sometimes you have to make tough decisions as President. As for Obama he's the first viable black candidate I have seen in politics. Nothing against Jesse Jackson and Alan Keyes and others like them but their message really misses and black people won't even vote for them. I wish we could see more black candidates like Obama.

I think the nation is ready for a woman President but personally not this woman. Hillary Clinton is so confident in her abilities when really she has done nothing (although people swear she was running things as First Lady, without any sort of security clearance). I do think we need to get out of Iraq, we spend 200 billion a year over there while New Orleans is still in ruins. Tonight should be a good test for Hillary, she's one on one with Obama tonight (although I heard Bill is petitioning to get in on the debate to make it fair).

we need to get out of iraq but we need someone smart enough to do it without us being attacked afterwards.

Why not? Hillary is already one in the making, poised to run the super power nation! Hope you are not losing sight of great women like the German Angela, The Liberian Johnson Sirleaf, and Argentina's Christina! They are women with power on comparable to a President!

You are very right about "not ALL change is good." I guess we won't really know how being a woman president would affect the country. I just think it is about time a woman is being taken seriously about the possibility of becoming president. I don't think that you should just vote or not vote for a person because of their gender or race. You should learn about where they stand on the issuses. If a woman does not win this time one day there will be a woman in office it is just a matter of time.

The world is prepared for anything, but here it is USA that we talking about. How do the Americans feel about a lady president? Other countries have lady presidents or PMs. Nothing is new to them. But what about USA, a coutry which never had a lady before. USA is a big tough coutry to rule. It needs a real tough, bold and a person with a lion heart. A person who cannot be swayed by emotions, a hard hearted person. Can the lady have such qualities. Plus, US plays the part of a big brother, monitoring the world situation. You indeed need an iron man to lead the country.

First off, I hope people don't vote for Hillary just because she is a woman. I actually heard someone say that they would! I don't care whether we have a man or a woman president as long as it isn't her! What I vote for is where a person stands on the issues, voting because someone is male or female is just as ridicoulous as voting for someone because they are black or white or purple. What has gender have to do with how someone does a job? Nothing.

It is funny you should ask this question, because i was thinking this vary thing over myself. And the question should be thought of like this. The worl may not be ready for a women presedent, but can we take a nothere man presedent. In othere word it does not matter man or woman, but can they do a good job. Do i think she will do a good job? Yes I am sure she would do as good as her husband did. I mean when you live with the same person they have this power to infuance what you think some times. So y not relect bill o lol I mean his wife, and let him call the shot behind are backs. Can we think of any othere chooses, but to step back in time to the clinton age?

I'm a woman. Without being politically affiliated, I trust women more than I trust men. I don't trust the black guy and I'm scared of having a black president. I'M NO RACIST! I HAVE BLACK FRIENDS I CARE ABOUT. But I noticed, that black people take their "brothers"'s side enven if they are wrong. I also realized that we can't tell anything to a black person, things we'd worn anybody alse about, we can't even kid about their being wrong because they think we pick on them for being black. Without bein a racist, I would like black people to be more open minded when somebody is attracting their attention they are being wrong and realize this has nothing to do with race.

I am from Philippine and we have already experience to have a Woman President. The first woman President in our country is Ex-President Aquino. I don't know about her and I don't know if she was able to lead the people satisfactorily as I was not yet born during her administration. Our current President is also a woman. I guess she is a good leader though are many oppose it, and I too during the start of administration didn't like either for her as our President. But as time goes by with her Presidency, I notice that she was able to contribute a lot in our economy. The rate of our peso compared to dollar increases. Before it was 56 pesos per dollar but now it goes down to 40 pesos per dollar. I can say new improvements too. So I think it will not be bad for USA to try a woman president. Who knows she will be able to make an excellent job.
