How much Do you LOVE someone?

I've been thinking--and thats not always good :) How much are you willing to sacrifies for your loved ones? Would you die for someone? I'm thinking of my husband right now, and I would rather die then see him die. I would rather take the pain for him. Is that how everone feels? Or is there dought when your thinking about dying? There are different ways to die, and I think alot of people wouldn't want to die for someone if it mean a great deal of pain and suffering. Tell me what you think. Let this be like a little survey to see what people think about this!

This is a hard one. Sure sacrificing your life for your love is a great act of love. It would save his life. But either way he would suffer. Either suffer from dying, or having to live the rest of his life without you. To me the second is worse. When I think about it, would it be selfish to want to die before the other? But if my love was in danger, I would do anything to guarantee his safety.

if i am inlove with someone, i will do everything i can to make him happy and contented..yes, i will sacrifice my self for my loved ones specially to my child, i'd rather get sick than them will get sick, i know i can handle the pain because i love them...if i love someone theres no room for doubts..

I think this is how anyone feels who has any sense of compassion. I would die for everyone that I love, especially my two children. I am scared to die I will admit, fearing the unknown, but when it comes to my children I would do it in a heartbeat without a moments hesitation.

To me, it sounds like you really Love him. I once asked someone; "How do you know you love someone?" And he answered: "If you are willing to go through fire for that special someone, you know you are in Love." Same with childeren, when you see your children in pain, you would rather take there pain yourself. If someone is dieing and you love them, be it your children or partner, you would want to take there place. Because you think you cannot live without them. That is Love, and also a little bit egocentric. But, human. Take care.
