When writing memorandum or letter, when we are preparing draft, do you type direct to the computer or write your draft on your draft paper before finalizing it. I usually prepare my draft memo in my yellow pad altough I should direct it to the computer. My mind function well in writing and besides I can practice my handwriting. What do you do?

I usually write it in rough first then type it and print it. Before I used computers I hand wrote most letters but then when I got my first computer, a desk top one, I typed most of my letters. I liked my handwriting more in the days I didn't use a computer. Now I am so used to writing rough notes my handwriting isn't as neat as it should be. When I taught in one school there was a new move to making four year olds learn cursive writing. So I had to write in the way the school wanted. Nowadays I write in my own handwriting and type on my laptop.

Thanks for the response. I prepare my draft now in the computer, but I am using both, coz I noticed I cant hardly write now, so I am using the computer for past memos, and do drafts in paper if things I have to write need some serious thinking and a little searching.
