Should Ricky Ponting stand down now as captain to let others have more of an opportunity? Do you think that the Australian Cricket Board (ACB) make the decision for him?

At times, but his back does seem to be causing him more problems, especially after a big innings or hard game. It would be nice to give some of our rising stars more of a chance at times

I think he is not going to retire soon. I think he will play at least 2-3 years more.

Possibly but part of me hopes not, he has had a good run and should leave on a high note, it would be better for the next captain to come in at a strong point.

I don't think that Ricky Ponting should be replace with someone as captain of australia team. Under his leadership australia become more and more stronger and having the No.1 position in cricket world for the last few years. There is no up and down with australia team...His supevision and guidance to other player in the team is excellent...I think he should continue as a skipper for the next few years..still he is as younger as sachin..I don't think that Australian Cricket board(ACB) make any decision for his replacement right now.

I think that perhaps they should start considering some options and bringing some younger players
