im fond of reading dictionaries if i have my free time.. maybe im just one of the nerds and weirds of the society.. but it's a nice feeling that you learn more words than the rest.. it broadens your knowledge and it makes you well versed with the complicated words.. aside from english, im studying french, german, and norweigian..

I don't speak any other language than English and I think it's the toughest language to learn. It's not even the complicated words but the grammar rules and the fact that we have so many words that sound the same but are spelled different. An example would be read (sounds like reed)...you can read a book or say you read (sounds like red) a book. It never made any sense to me. Good luck learning the language and this is a good place to practice.

When it comes to complex words I have a bit of a problem. If I am not sure of the spelling I will look it up. Also if I come across a word I do not know what it's meaning is than I will go to the dictionary and look it up.
