Hello friends and mylotters! I am a little bit of an anime fan and love watching different anime series. Ive always loved how well they are drawen, just the fact that they are all drawen either by hand or by the computer is amazing... I also love to try and draw anime myself, it doesnt always come out right but its a start... Who knows maybe it will become the start of a brand new anime series... NOT... What about you guys, do you watch any anime and have you ever tried to draw it yourself?

Hmmm, it varies for everyone but, just a little help, well my suggestion that is, relax your fingers while you hold the pencil or pen that you use to draw. Try and try, don't hesitate if it doesn't look nice at first, that's part of the process

I can draw in anime style. It started with the end of the second season of Digimon. It was a bit sad for me at the time because that was the last time I could watch those characters (except on tape of course, I tried to record every episode since I didn't have a DVD player at the time). Well, I thought I'd draw new characters for the series for my own entertainment and have a brand new storyline and new digimon for the original cast. Have my characters and the old cast interact you know?

Yes! I love drawing anime-style. I'm half japanese, and I've collected manga magazines from when I go to visit family in Japan. I've always drawn the characters in them since I was a little kid. I don't want to sound narcisist, but I think I'm pretty good. ^0^

My son is 17yrs old, he can draw anime characters by hand like inuyasha(i hope the name is right)I asked him to practice more so he can work with company who's hiring those who knows how to draw animes. Good luck ! you can make it just practice drawing.

I've tried drawing anime style, but I've failed miserably. I can only draw from reference, and even then, it's not very good. I can do the basics on my own, but that's about it. This is what it looks like when I try to draw without a reference: http://vampamber.deviantart.com/art/Rashle-II-68296221 . With a reference isn't that much better, though. This one is from the manga Tenshi Ja Nai: http://vampamber.deviantart.com/art/Tenshi-Ja-Nai-68246281 . And this one is from the manga Full Moon o Sagashite: http://vampamber.deviantart.com/art/Takuto-II-68281229 . See? Not very good at all. -_-;

LOL I am also still learning from reference e-books, but I guess the more anime you watch the better you will become, and of course practice makes perfect. your drawing arent too bad if you ask me... mine are similiar. Thanks for your response

No, this is way above my drawing skills... I never could draw something well enough, and anime requires good drawing skills, which I don't have...

we do not watch anime, however, my teen daughter is quite talented in drawing in this style (I guess that she started drawing about the time she had an interest in sonic the hedgehog games) though she does not ever draw those angry eyes that is so overwhelmingly characteristic of the anime cartooning.

love to draw. before when i was in high school i often draw sailor soldiers characters, like sailor moon, mercury, mars, pluto, well actually all of them. :P yuyu hakusho, most are hiei and kurama because this two is my favorite. ranma 1/2, slam dunk, rukawa forever XD, but then when im in college im more with the refine characters like kaori yuki works, which is angel sanctuary. and often draw my own characters this days.

I'm wondering if I responded to this and it got deleted. -_- Anyways, I'll just answer since it is an interest of mine either way. Yes I can draw anime, I've been doing it for years (along with other artistic endeavors). I've thought about making my own manga or anime... might not be realistic now... but in the future who knows.

I'm definitely among the many who have tried, but just can't succeed. I just don't think I have the artistic talent that goes into it, really.

yep... i draw anime, my favorite character is vash and i always drawn his figure, ever since higschool... but after i went to college, i usually tried to draw my own character, its good but its always wearing a casual dress, and they are all males, coz its hard for me to draw a female figure, especially when i try to draw a female wearing a swimsuit, their body well look like a male... hehehehe, but when the wear a casual dress, i can somehow make it right...

When I was much younger, I used to draw cartoons and other fictional characters or anime. I am the only girl doing that in our class. I dunno but I found it easier to draw than human. But now, my medium becomes people, nature, and objects. Maybe because I am over with those "wanna-be-hero" stage". lol
