OK, last night I actually got mad over the remove control... I was trying to see what was on tv and he said, see what's on 57 (TCM) maybe some old movie is on.......well, I wanted to see what was on the History International Channel.....he took the remote and turned it to something real dumb. I didn't speak the entire night and read my Rachael Ray Magazine. I never get upset about much of anything, maybe it's pms, but man-o, it made me mad! I have heard stories like this before from others, but never experienced it myself. Any one out there have this problem?

Easy solution my dear friend....get another TV! My husband watches nothing but crime, violence, killing, murders and, well you get the idea. And of course all those shows have s*x just this side of soft-you-know-what. And all those shows are on regular cable, not HBO - well they are probably one HBO but we dont' have HBO - just 1-100 channels. Add to that the loud screaming, yelling and foul language, and I won't even be in the same room if the TV is on. So I have one in my bedroom where I spend most of my time when he is home cause the TV is always on!Thing is, he will watch Everyday Italian - with Giada the Cleavage Girl! To bad I can't stand to have to watch her!

Well, we live very close and I was at his house........I have 4 televisions at my house and will have 5 if I ever get my under the counter tv set up in the kitchen. He has just the one and I was stuck! He is usually real good about it, which may be why I got mad last night. I'm like, some nerve................dthen put my nose in my newest Rachael Ray magazine, read the entire thing, got tired and then went to sleep.

I'm so sorry, but I just had to laugh. I am positive I've been in a similar situation (although we don't have cable so my/our choices were slim - and what he chose would have had to have been really, REALLY dumb) but I can't remember the details now, and I'm sure you won't remember the details of yours, either, in a few days. But doesn't it feel good to get it off your chest??

Oh yes. This morning, even last night I sort of forgot about it as I engrossed myself in my newest Rachael Ray magazine. I have found that there are many things much more important than the television station. It just got to me last night. I said something to my friend, Rose and she would have cussed her man out and started a huge fight. I believe her!
