I most definately HATE chain letters. I just got one about 5 minutes ago about a love test and if you send this to 15 contacts your love life will come true. It also came with this little test thing at the bottom... I didnt do it of course but maybe a few of you would be interested in it. What about you guys? Do you hate chain-messages and why?

I actually got two chain letters in the mail this week! I couldn't believe people were still sending chain letters in the mail. I thought that went out in the 80's. I was really surprised that I got them because I haven't gotten something like that in years. It's funny because my 73 year old aunt is always sending me chain emails.

LOL, I have never received a chain letter in the mail before, only like 5 years ago but I never responded to it. Now I just keep getting annoying ones via e-mail! Thanks for responding!

Yeah, those chain letters are pretty useless. I usually ignore them when I received them. I think it's better to relay the message to other people one by one so that you know who needs the message. Also, delete away the statement that you need to forward to other people. That way, the message gets conveyed and people would not be irritated by that.

I hate them, for the same reason you hate them, they are annoying who the heck is the one that sends them around to everyone anyways?! lol. I bet its this one person sending it to everyone cause they thinks its funny. ha. I have a filter on my email setup so that anything with the word fw, or fwd in it gets put directing in the spam folder and i dont have to see it. There are a few people that have my email, mainly my mother in law and aunt who RELIGIOUSLY send these things EVERYDAY. It drives me nuts.

I absolutely hate chain emails. I can't stand them! My friends send them to me because they think they are cute, but honestly they are a hassle for me, having to syphen through my emails and figure which is important and which is not.

I hate chain mail so much and I can't see why people feel the need to forward it onto their whole contact list! Its especially annoying if your registered on sites like Bebo, MySpace and Facebook, I must get about 11 emails a day from Facebook cos someones posted some crappy chainmail on my funboard or whatever it is. I've created a new email account now (gmail) for personal use, so I use one of msn and Bebo an stuff like that and then one just for serious stuff.
