Free 411 Even From Your Cell Phone. / myLot

There was 1-800-CALL-411 and that was an OK service to save the $1.79 charge that wireless provide by calling 411 on your cell phone. Listen to a:30 second clip and they will connect you. Google has done one (actually three) steps better. Call: 1-800-GOOG-411 and be instantly connected to 411 service. Google will send you SMS (text message) about the place you are calling about Google will send you a map of where the place is you are calling This is just absolutely awesome. I have used it. It works great and saves a lot of money and time. Have any others used this service?

Interesting. I had never heard of anything like this. I have known of just the 411 from years and years ago, but never an 800 service that is with the exception of the toll free number for toll free numbers which is 1-800-555-1212.
