Just out of curiosity, what makes you say "what a socialist"? Is it because she'd like to see everyone have health care coverage like the rest of the world? If that's socialism, count me in. Annie

The system would be an extremely bad move, along with her election. Look at Canada's health care system, which is in the area of where she wants ours. Not only that, whichever category you put this under, she wants a world government which is so horribly painful to hear. I am not proud to have people like her in this country plain and simple. A couple of years ago, Sen. Clinton said, "We're saying that for America to get back on track...We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." So when the government takes stuff away from us to use it for the common "good" of the people, that's not socialism. GIVE ME A BREAK! With the health care system that she wants to implement, she will take more of our money, and then use it for the common "good" of the people. How is that not socialism? Lets not forget that socialism is the transition step right into communism. I think most of you people, are being a little short sighted about all of this. If that woman becomes president, she will turn the country into socialist, with crap like the health care system. A great word that has represented this country and it's population for over 200 years is INDEPENDENCE. When you let her take your money to fun, what will probably end up being a health care system filled with entropy, you lose your independence. The government will be thinking for you, and will be taking your money when it can to screw us all even more. Where does that even remotely tie into American Values, and what they used to be? It is disappointing to see so many people in this country losing sight of why this country is great.

I live in Canada, my pregnant friend had pains and went to the emergency room just to wait 3 hours.. 3 hours in the emergency room... isnt that just great for an idiotic socialist system? If you believe in charitable health care, thats great, give your money to a charity... dont force everyone to pay... especially with the economic problem in the US which ripples over here in canada.

In all fairness I researched the quote, "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good" and this is what I found: http://www.snopes.com/politics/clintons/marxist.asp Everyone certainly as the right to their own opinion but at least get your quotes in the proper context. I assume you received the e-mail referenced in this site. As to a 3 hour wait in the ER, trust me that happens here too even for those of us who PAY for our health care. Nobody wants our health care to be run by the government. That's another "Urban Legend" that will not go away! Annie
