Yes, it is safe to use and I've been using it for several years including large number of transactions. I can also transfer the earned money from PayPal to my saving account internationally. It's highly recommended. Cheers.

Dear David I have been a member of paypal since ? a long time. I have 2 accounts there, both of them are linked to bank accounts and I have never had a problem with them. I highly encourage membership at paypal. in fact, here is my link: http://www.paypal.com/refer/pal=YK37ECXSBWTTJ I also use another online bank that I give high accolades too. They are called ING. They have savings, checking, debit card and now they have a stockmarket section called sharebuilders. Here is my link to the banking side. I've been a member since 2001 and not a speck of trouble, they pay excellent interest and now with the debit card and other kewl features, like them writing and mailing a paper check for you at no charge... Ooops, they don't have a referral link...Oh well, if u are interested give me your email and I will send u an invite. Oh, by the way, I have made over $70 interest. And now I am playing in the stock market and they have some kewl tools to help you.

No I do not think paypal is safe to use and there has been many problems with it. I do not give out my bank numbers to any of the sites anymore as I lost over $2500. through the online banking and it took me over 6 months to get it back. I am always getting emails telling me my account has been accessed by someone. If anyone can access paypal then they can get your credit or bank info too. They can send me a check if I want to cash out but not giving them any info.

Yes, Pay Pal is safe and is good to use. It's a great way to get that money you make on other websites. Last year I had a problem with them and we got it streghtened out, it took a while. I recommend using their service.

I haven't personally had any issues with paypal. I hear their customer service isn't that great though. Just as long as you aren't planning on doing a lot of buying/selling on ebay or any other place, you should be fine.

paypal are about as safe as leaving your money with a fraduster i.e. you can kiss ur money goodbye. if you are using it just for mylot payments it might be alright but if you are selling and buying on ebay you are leaving yourself wide open to scammers, fradusters and the like. there are several methods of defrauding people via paypal and paypal actually help them along in the process by making it harder for the victim, their customer support are as helpful as hamsters running a computer. when someone does a chargeback against you paypal automatically freeze the funds relevent to the transaction and you can not touch it until the claim has been resolved, if you were the seller and sent your item but the buyer is claiming they never recieved it your in for a hard time proving anything to them and if the buyer actually has their item they will also then have their money back as well and you will be out of pocket and minus your item. i would not trust paypal as far as i can throw them, i've been on the recieving end fradulant claims with paypal and they helped disshonest fraudsters do me out of £500 / $1000, now i would never trust them with any of my bank account details nor credit cards or anything, i have a free account with them for my mylot payments and that cash will be spent online buying something or other. www.paypalsucks.com tells it all as it is.

I think paypal is safe. But its users also have to be cautious while carrying on transactions on paypal. They should share their password etc with others. They also should not reply scam mail.

I think that Paypal is the safest of payment processors and has paid me successfully to my bank account for years now. However I would agree that whilst Paypal try to be fair to all in disputed Ebay transactions, it is very easy for buyers to claim that they never received an item when in fact they did. I wouldn't go as far as to say that they "suck" though, as I can see the good intentions they have with the Ebay situation. I think that the customer service staff are genuinely very helpful, and it is not their fault if the company policies surrounding Ebay transactions do not please everyone all the time is it?

It probably is safe, but then again it is true that hackers are about. My friend opened her email in an airport and voila! Everyone of us in her address book received emails - purportedly from her, or at least from her email account - asking for help and money! It is good to be careful...
