ok this is for those who dont know about this,you can get wii jackets for your remotes free,all you have to do is put your serial number (on the back of your wii ) should start with LU then your numbers,you can get up to 4 free remote jackets. go to: www.nintendo.com/consumer/jacket/jacketrequest.jsp If this link dont work then just use the www.nintendo.com

I haven't bought Wii yet, but I am planning to get it this month or the next. Does that mean the new Wii will come with the jacket itself? What does the jacket do?

its a rubber jacket for the remotes,it gives you a better grip on the remotes,otherwise it will fly out of your hand,as it hit the ceiling a few times when we was bowling lol, ya gotta get one there so much fun, and you get some excerise to boot lol...
