I heard about this on E! news, and looked it up. Some of Miley's personaly photos that she took with friends were found on the friends' myspace pages; they were of her and girl friends in bikinis and pj's, sharing lollipops. I don't find this at all something "bad"; I was 15 [Miley's age] two years ago, and had the same type of pics on my myspace. But I could see how it affect younger girls that look up to her...if parents are responsible with their kids on the internet, I'm sure they would not come across these, Miley's personal photos, though. What do you think about these leaked photos?

If her friend had the photos taken, then she has the right to post them..Problem is, with Miley so popular, people may copy the pictures for their own use. That is why my daughter and myself both have our account set to private, only our friends see our pictures..

Yep, until they're not your friends anymore.

I am very picky who I choose on myspace, I trust my friends and no one on my daughters page is a stranger unless they are bands that she requested, because she does have it set up for having to know her e-mail to request her.

As long as the girl who posted them is in the picture then there is nothing that can be done about it because she is the owner of the photo. This drives me nuts. I have an 11yr old who wants her own myspace page and I refuse to let her start one. I cannot watch over her 24/7 and I just don't want to deal with something bad if it happens because she was playing around online and got into something over her head. But as for 15 yr olds having pictures of themselves in bikinis and pjs you would think there is nothing wrong with it but then you got to think there is some pedophile out there looking at those pictures while satisfying himself. Then all of a sudden you see that there could be something very wrong with it.

At only 11 she couldn't start a myspace page anyway unless she put a false birthdate because you have to be at least 14. And when she is old enough and you let her start one I would make sure she sets her account settings so that no one over 18 can view her profile.

Another good tip if you allow your child to have a myspace is to have one also and become her friend there.. That was the only way my daughter, (she was 16 at the time), was allowed to have one..Plus everything private and set to approve every comment and to have it set so that only those who know your daughters last name and e-mail address would be able to request her..

If they are just pics of her in bikinis and pj's I don't understand why they would affect younger girls negatively. What's the problem with them?

If she IS in a bikini and romping around where people are taking pictures who would, can I use the word betray, her by 'leaking them' then I have no problem with that. Don't wear a bikini at 15. Just like Britney... just 'cause a baby came out of that thing I don't need to see it.! Now if she was at a private location and someone snapped photos unsuspectingly of her then that is another story... there may be more to this than what is on the surface.

OK I just took a look at the pictures and they are 'personal' pictures but nothing explicit. It also looks like one of the three girls that is in the picture is taking the picture (holding her hand out). So, either they had the picture, or it was sent to someone who shouldn't have gotten it but these are most DEFINATELY NOT papparazzi pictures. Nor are they unbecoming of a 15 year-old IMO.

I think that whenever you are fifteen years old and want a myspace page or whatever else your parents should really watch you closely on the internet and what you are getting into and look at your myspace page ever so often to make sure that everything is on the "up and up" and I also think that with as many pervs as there are out there now days that a fifteen year old girl or boy shouldn't have those kinds of pictures on the internet especially when they are suppose to be a rolemodel for other teenage girls!

There's nothing 'bad' in it as you said, but privacy is one thing the life of a star is another. when you turn on your tv today or read newspapers, you see practically everyday reports of people with devilish intentions having this or that to innocent children. That is the moment that you realise that this world is cruel! Being a star or not thats makes no difference when u are still a child!

I think its people trying to get into other peoples business. I can't stand that. My daughter loves Hannah Montanna. If its just teenage girls having harmless fun, then its no big deal. Like you said I was 15 too. Myspace is just a place to talk to friends and family and share fun photos to me.
