Do you like Brie cheese? I have a HUGE wheel of it, and do not know what to do with it. Do you have suggestions? Are you supposed to eat the skin that is on top of it? is it supposed to be creamy? is it supposed to smell sort of like fish?

I've had it this way (years ago)...it was tasty Brie with skin left on 1/4 cup of honey 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds 1 large French baguette Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place brie in a baking dish. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle With toasted almonds. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve with thick slices of French bread.

you know, now that I have tried it (straight up, heated and on crusty bread) I think this sounds absolutely fantastic! I've got honey in the cupboard AND slivered almonds to boot! going to have to give this a go, perhaps Sunday evening as a late night snack.... tonight I had some heated with the crusty bread and along side of it fresh orange slices - it was very satisfying.

I don't know much about Brie, except that I did try it once, and didn't like it. It was expensive too, so I haven't tried it again. I like cheese a lot, so I was surprised that I didn't like the Brie. There are some recipes for using the Brie at: http://www.foodnetwork.com/

you won't believe what I paid.... 99cents for the huge wheel! if I had only known how I would enjoy it I would have purchased more...though I do not know how well it would keep or if you can freeze it. thank you for the link, it may prove to come in handy!
