I passed the written test the first time but had to take the driving test twice. I failed the first time on parallel parking. And I had practiced so many times too. grr!

I had to go for mine twice, i cam home so upset when I failed as i had a brand new car sitting in my drive way and i couldn't drive it, because things have changed so much since I got my license I am not sure i would pass the written side of things now.

Hello Evoluchun, I got my driver license from the first time I toked the test. I remember that I was very nervous when I got back at the well but I started to do my routine to relax a bit, adjust my sit, the mirrors, pull the hand break and put the gear stick in first. I started to drive but I was so nervous that I couldn't speak. I got a scar on my right cheek and the cop asked my from where I have it. I explained to him where I got it but that toked my about 3 minutes. So my advice to you is to try to relax, study real hard and to a lot of test at home. Take care and have a great day. ScarFace.

i passed both written and and the driving test on the first try. it sounds like you are your own worst enemy. i know its easy to say and a lot harder to do, but try not to get so nervous. take your time reading the questions, for that matter re-read the question AT LEAST TWICE SLOWLY before you answer it. a lot of the damn things are written so if you happen to skip a single word, your answer will be way off. on questions where you arent sure enough of one answer..try using the common sense method of deduction. you know, take out the ones that just dont sound like they would be safe compared to the others..try to trim the answer choices down as much as you can..then make a decision between whats left. hope that helps...good luck on your next try! YOU WILL GET IT!!

There wasn't a written test when I took mine years ago. I failed the first time and passed the second. It took my daughter six times and she is a very competent driver but just was so nervous at the test and each time she failed she got worse for the next one, but she has at last got her pass and pass plus too which helps lower insurance. Just perservere and eventually you will pass. Goood luck. Ellie

It took me two times to pass the written and once to pass the road test when I got my license. When I got my CDL it was the other way around.

I passed the written test on my first try. The driving test I failed because the instructer I had was a jerk and was failing everyone that day. He went so far as to call my stupid. My dad about killed him. Where I live we have to do graduated licenses which sucks. I figure its just a way for them to snivle more money out of us but anyhow, we have our G1 which we can only drive with someone 5 years experience, can't have noone in the car with alchol in their system and we can't drive after midnight or before 7am. Then we have our G2 which is full access except you can't have NO alchol in your system at all. Then there is our G which is the same as G2 except you have the legal limit of alchol. I wont have one drink and drive so I dont care about the G2 and G but it has to be done, you only have 5 years to complete it

I passed my learner test, HPT, driving test all only in one time. Before I took the driving test, I felt very nervous, and I thought I can not pass it in once tome. But before I driving, the examination officer asked me which kind of drivers' licence I prefer, three years or ten years? I relaxed at once........And after, I passed!:-)
