Did The Lakers Basically Steal Pau Gasol from the Grizzlies?

By trading Kwame and JCritt for Gasol, I feel that the lakeshow made a huge deal. I think that while The Grizz did get the cap relief and young talent that they were looking for, they could have surely gotten more from other teams like The Bulls, The Nuggets, or heck even The Hawks. Kwame for Gasol is ill. Do you think it was a fair deal, or did the lakers just get away with theft?

Yes. The Lakers did get away with theft: BIG TIME! We have the same sentiment. The Grizz trading Pau for Kwame?!! What were they thinking? Yeah yeah, the Grizz basically realized that they aren't going anywhere with Pau, but having him traded to get 2 players with one having the name Kwame Brown?! The worst ever who got drafted number 1. He'll be turning 26 next month, his on his 6th year as an NBA player but still, there's no signs of improvement. He is probably the only thing that I hate about the Lakers when he was still part of them but now that he isn't, I was really delighted. Overall, its just fair for the Grizz because they have the Lakers' 2008 and 2010 first round draft picks. Who knows? Those picks might really help them be a more competitive team and win games. For now, they'll just have to endure Kwame and his not so good playing ability. For the Lakers, seems like their future is getting even brighter now with Pau, plus when Andrew Bynum comes back.. That's certainly a team to watch. Go Lakers
