When you go to your e-mail box, do you read your new topics from friends first, handle the responses, or do you go back and forth between the two? I tend to go back and forth. Then, if I come up with a new topic, I will take a break in between and do that. what is your method?

I like checking the comments to my responses first...I like to know how the discussion is moving forward. I then focus on deciding which discussions of my friends I need to respond to...and go back and forth between that and the discussions that I have started.
I don't start new topics often...and when I do..that's the first thing I do.

Oh that is the first thing that you do. I prefer to do that part last most of the time. That way, I will have finished up everything else and then the next time I sign on I can see all the responses to the new topics. It goes much slower for me if I respond as people respond to my topics.

I tend to forget my topics if I don't put them down first. I don't comment as soon as I recieve one (unless I have nothing else to do). I wait till I am done with my other discussions before I check the one I started on a particular day. The discussion is only started and I don't comment though I do read them as they come.

I just grab the first one I find and go from there. lol. Ok, so I do delete some because they are not in my areas of interest, but I think I'm getting to most of them. Only got about 100 more to catch up on!

I usually just start and go right down the list. Although that starts with the newest first, and some wait longer to get answered.

Some feel bad sometimes when I start at the top and don't get to the older ones first. The reason is that I know that there are many times when I am waiting for certain friends to respond.
It makes a big difference for me when I know how they feel about a certain thing. Especially, when they are comforting.

I go to my email and read all my friends responses first, then I go to topics with no responses next and then I finish up by making new discussions, so that my friends have something to answer. After that I go to the newer ones if I have time in my day to do that.

If I have posted any discussions, i check the responses to those first, reply to them if needed and then check out my friends new topics and if I can, answer them right away. If not then I leave them and move onto the older discussions. If I think of something to post while I am doing this, I go ahead and post my discussion them come back to my friends discussions.

Hi Rozie37! I usually answer first what is in my e-mail box and there are times that I do go back forth and forth. With new topics that I create, I usually post it first when I really have something in mind. However, my usual days are all devoted in responding to friends' discussions and commenting on responses to my own discussions. Take care and have a nice day! :)

for me, i go to the oldest new mails that come to my inbox. hehe basically i start from the older mails to the later ones. i find it more systematic that's all. but everyone has his/her own way of doing things. there's no right or wrong.
