We are a couple who are as friendly we can be to people specially at friends. But those days you cant even trust friends. We have helped to sign papers so the could get a house near by. And everything was fine and we have always had a great time together. suddenly one day when we as usual after our shopping tour wanted to pop by and say hallo and give them some things we had bought to their house and something to eat together with the coffee. We received a chock, because there was nobody there and when we looked in their windows the house was empty. We try to call them at home at their mobiles but no answers. And we have not heard nothing from them and nobody knows where the are. How ever....after a while it started drop in bills with their names but for what we have signed 2years ago. Now do we have to pay for them even if we have past the court so are we guilty. Because of our trust to what we thought was one of our best friends, we have to sell and leave our paradise after 13 year without having unpaid bills. Unfair, but what to do. we have our children and pets to think about. At the moment we just have food for them and not a single cent, because of friends. We need around 450.000 €uro to save the house, and we don´t see how to find those money without selling. And maybe it´s not enough selling our house. So if anyone have something over you are welcome. For what do you need 450.000 Euro, do you need it to save the other house and if it is so then why do you need 2 houses. I cant find any logical reason to have 2 houses and it sounds from the way you described it as that you own both houses, so why not sell 1 of them and keep the other one. Having rad throught the entire thing i have alot of questions, why would they just dissapear and leave the house empty. And if the house is empty why do they get bills, and why do you need to pay for them. I cant see any logic or justice in forcing a someone to pay a friends bills. Why are you forced to leave your so called paradice just because some bills that arent even your bills, and you should not need to pay them.

So what it sounds like is, you co-signed for them to get the house, and you used your house for collateral? If so, I guess you should see what you can work out with the bank. My rule has always been- Never loan a friend anything you need back.

My friends, The owner of the house right now are the Bank. But the bank want their money back for the loan they gave for the house ++++ to reform etc. i was their guarantee for the loan, and as i signed i have to pay the bank. A lot of unpaid fees have raised the amount that it almost is the same as what they started with. I have my own house on mortgage with 826 €uro monthly. So i can´t pay for one more. And if i don´t pay before 1/6/2008 than we are on the street with our children and pets. Thats the reason i want to save my as and try to stay here.

Maybe I'm not understanding correctly, but if the house YOU signed papers for is EMPTY. You OWN it don't you? why can't you rent it out or sell it?? Then you could pay off whatever else you helped them with.

I´m not the owner of the house it have gone to far before they contacted me, so i´m not able to pay this. The house belongs to the bank. They are trying to sell it,but it´s in a area where almost nobody would like to live. And i will not live there either. The rest could you read below
