If asked to choose which would you prefer in life, will it be becoming a mom or a wife?
Id rather be a mom even if I won't be somebody elses wife. I'll learn to concentrate and be contented with being a mom since these children are really the most precious gift we would ever have. These kids will also forever me, hence, we can be a mom forever but there is no guarantee that we would be a wife forever.

hi chrysz! ^__^
if asked to choose between being a wife and a mother, i would prefer to be mother. i believe that the essence of a woman is to bear a child and be a good mother. (i got that from former Ms. Universe Sushmita Sen ^__^;;) and just like you said, our children would definitely be forever be ours, but a husband wouldn't because there are chances to be separated. mothers and their children are bounded by blood and i think whatever happens, both will be concerned for each other and will take care of each other. ^__^

Hello! I am from from San Pedro and no wonder Ms. Sen won the title for that answer because its very true.
Here in our country, we can be sure that our kids will never take us fro granted but I also feel for those who have different attidtude and beliefs. My mom who is in Canada now is saving for her retirement because my little sis might not look after her someday. She considered then reconciling with my father because, as she said, she would be needing a husband to grow old. She is still not closing her doors for marrying again but she also considers that she stillhave two children brought up here in the Philippines whose values about elderly are different from what she is seeing in Canada.

as for now, its because i'm a single mom, i'm just a mother to my child..i think, if i will get married soon, i will be able to become a mother and a wife at the same time because you have different responsibilities as a mother to my kids, also you have responsibilities as a wife to my husband..yah, i agree that children are very precious gift to us but we have to balance it for our family..

Mother definitely… no questions on that. But your post made me think about the wife part too. After mulling over it for a while I think being a wife to my husband has not had a huge impact on me…rather his friendship has. What I mean is that even if I am not my husband’s wife, I would still have to have him as a friend. So friendship is more important than being a spouse. But motherhood…well that feeling has no substitute.

It would be better if you will be both a mother and a wife. Though we prioritize the children I still believe we are duty bound to be a good wife to our husbands. So why not have the best of both worlds to keep our family together?
