do you sing when you heard a familiar song?

I love all kinds of songs and I always sing alone when I hear a familiar song. That's one of the reasons why I cna't study with music. I end up singing more than studying..lol

it would depend on the situation what i am on that time. if its on free situation, i mean here not in working place or even in a meeting event, i would follow the song by humming or sing it without voice or even just playing my fingers as like the rhytim which playing on :) so, my point in here, i would like to see how the situation it is. is in a formal situation or informal situation.

Alot of times I catch myself singing with it and I hadn't even realized that I was. I do not hum, I am terrible at that.

that is so true, most of the time they just pop up in my head and I cant even control it. I sing hum and shake my head to the song.

Yes, i sing if i hear a familiar song. Why not? But i lower my voice, so people will not be disturbed by me. Hehe... i dont know, just not confident.

Of course I often do that whenever my familiar and favorite songs are being played. Not saying that I am good in singing or I have sweet and nice voice I just feel relaxed and could release my emotion by doing so especially when there is nobody around and I could sing aloud.

I always walk around the house singing to songs I know & in the car, but I don't do it out at the shops though. Might be a different story if I could sing though. I'm pretty self-conscious. Unlike my mother who insists on walking around shops singing if she knows the song playing over the pa. Pretty bad & embarrassing.

when I'm by myself I will sing really loud songs that I know. When I use to go to work people would laugh at me because I would sing and dance in my car on the way home but it kept me from getting sleepy behind the wheel and its always nice to see someone smile.

If I am not that busy and I have a good mood. I will sing it. Sometimes I will sing when I am cheerful. If not, I will just ignore it.

LOL, I too end up singing when I song that I know comes on. Granted, I don't usually start up intentionally, I just find myself singing! LOL

Oh yes we do. But our favorite is do change the words of the songs to fit into our family!

i'm right there with ya and i don't care who hear's me although i do tend to hear dog's howling when i do.it's alway's nice to hear some old one's that came out during my high school years during summer vacation then i really belt them out

i do. everytime. even if i'm in the streets. ^__^;; wherever i am, if i heard a familiar song, i would sing along especially if its one of my favorite songs. just like last Saturday, i was on my way to the mall when i head a song playing so loudly from a store. i was singing and muttering to myself and i could swear that at least one person saw me and must have thought i'm talking to myself. LOL i couldn't care less. i like the song and i will sing along no matter what. ^__^

I sing and i don't care if i sing off key. I love to sing but sometimes i just hum them too. Music is important to me because they have a way of expressing my thoughts and feelings. They are very good outlets for me.

I always sing when I hear a familiar song. I am one of the worst singers but I dont care, its just to much fun not to sing. If no one is at home then I will also start dancing to it as well. of course when I listen to my ipod then I really start singing. Of course my kids look at me like I am crazy but I just cant help it. I love to sing so much that I will even sing kid theme songs. My kids have the tv on so day after day I hear them and they just get stuck in my head.

it depends upon the type of the song.it the song has perfect blend of lyrics and rhythm then i automatically start singing that song and continue to do so although the song has got over.
