Change Of Times 2008

Clinton & Obama - Our presidential candidates
United States
February 3, 2008 5:46pm CST
Ok people, let’s look at the facts of this year’s presidential election, and who the top two candidates are. Hillary Clinton & Barack Obama ….. (Democrats) It’s obvious that one of the two will be elected I hear a lot of talk about Hillary possibly being the first woman president, or Obama for that matter being the first African American president. No matter who wins, this presidential election will mark a change of times. I’m open for anyone of these candidates to fill the position. It’s all about the best man or woman for the job. If you ask me, anyone of the two will do a better job G.W.B JR. ………………. ANY THOUGHTS?

I am afraid that part of the anger and trouble in this election is that voters are supporting (or not supporting) candidates for the wrong reasons - race and gender. Personally these two things should have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not to vote for a candidate. It should be based on who will do the best job, and whose views more closely support your own. I will be supporting Obama until the end; I prefer his views on education, health care, and government in general - more of it should be returned to the people.

yes anyone but the the joke we have now for president would be better. and altough I was a true Bill Clinton fan, I am on the fence about his wife. I love Barack Obama. I love his ideas, I love his passion. yes he doesn't not have as much experince, but look where experince got us for the last 8 years of our lives. I just want a change for the better. i want someone in there that will care about everyone not just the folks with the money! so here is to change!!

I would vote for me if they would let me. LOL Oh shoot - on second thought - I don't think I want the headache. Either way anybody looks at it, we're all in for changes.....I just don't know if any of the changes are going to be good ones in the long run. Is it possible to bring one back in a surprise box somehow?

I have to agree with you. Anyone would be better than Bush. Yes, either one will definitely mark a change in this country. I'm just hoping the country is smart enough not to elect another repbulican for a few years. Otherwise, we're in for more of the same... Higher taxes, lower income, and a Recession, possibly a depression. It could get ugly folks.
