I had been a fan of the original anime since I saw it in 1998 on Toonami, at nine years of age. Ididn't start reading the manga until I was about 17 years old, and saw a few issues on sale during "Free Comic-Book Day," and I bought them. And man did I learn a thing or two from those issues like Serena's real name... And how the original art style differed greatly from the anime. I still need to read the rest of the manga from start to finish, especially after seeing Crystal and all the stuff Toei omitted for unknown reasons... Like WTH?! Dx

i was only able to read one manga of Sailormoon. but i'm a totally 100% fan of the anime. ^__^ when i first watched Sailormoon (and that was more than 10 years ago), i didn't know anything about manga and when i got to know about it, i learned that it was expensive! so i wasn't able to buy any. the manga that i have read was only given to me by a senior who was a Sailormoon too. and then i didn't knew then that i can read the manga online. so i settled with the anime and got totally addicted with it. ^__^
now, i still haven't read the Sailormoon manga since i have already watched the whole anime series and also the live action. but i keep on collecting manga pictures and even naoko takeuchi's drawings in her Sailormoon artbooks. ^__^
