Oh I think your wife must be someone who is very lucky to marry you. But woman will still hope for something on that very day, they won't expect much a card will do.

when you're alone and without a "significant other" v-day kind of adds salt to the wound. it would be nice and i am sure a lot of people will buy or spend or do something...i think love should be shown in all ways every day and not overblown like v-day says we should do or be

Hi moodus, most people says that love should be everyday. I know that too but the thing is we are busy daily with works or etc...... V-day is the day for lover to show their love for their significant other.

well I'm married and we were going to get a hotel room and go out to eat at a nice place but our car had other ideas: ( it broke down so now we have to use our income tax money to repair it

Hi joeyswife, I think your car is jealous. A car is a man's second wife or a woman's second husband. Your car is asking for a present.

I don't expect anything from my husband nor does he expect anything from me. I don't think I got anything last year from him except a card he found at Wal-Mart. I don't need fancy gifts or jewelery to remind me that he loves me and that I love him. Love isn't about gifts.

Hi sixpauleleven, you are a good wife. But don't you feel happy when you got that card from him. Valentine is a day to tell your love one that you love him or her isn't it. For me a card is more that enough.
