Cocooning

Last night I slept like a log. I put on an extra blanket as I had the chills before I went to bed. When I woke up this morning it was like I was in a cocoon. I hardly had to make the bed. Most night's I hardly move once I get there and sleep in the same spot. But I like the covers wrapped around me. Do you like to cocoon? Or are you a restless sleeper with the covers just lightly over you?

Most nights I'm not very restless but don't like to be confined wrapped like a cocoon. It would probably wake me all night if I turned over. I like the sheet, comforter or both over my shoulder. I have to be covered up in order to fall asleep. I don't sleep that many hours at a time but when I do sleep it is very sound. Tonight I won't have a comforter on because it's very warm. It's almost 80 today which is totally bizarre in February for Missouri.

My room is real warm so I don't need any extra blankets. But in my childhood room , I used three or 4 layers on my bed and it was great to sleep in, especially when there was snow outside. It was so cozy.

If it is cold I love to cocoon, by the way I love the way you worded it instead of just saying wrapped up in the covers. :) When it is warmer I can do with just the sheet but I don't like to sleep with no covers at all.

Oh I love to snuggle. We (my three year old)have a really soft but heavy snuggle blanket at home which we put over us on the sofa in the evenings and snuggle together. I feel naked without the weight of a cover over me at night and always sleep better if warm. Like you I don't fidget so I wake up and hardly have to make the bed. My son however in the night kicks all his covers off once his is alseep. In fact I he fidgets so much at night I sometimes wonder how he manages to stay in the bed. He goes sideways, upside down and from one end to the other. Feel sorry for the lady he marries when he is older LOL

i LOVE to sleep. most of the time im totally covered in the blankets, head and all. for one, i don't like the light when i sleep. i like it to be as dark as possible. and if i at someones house, i do it because i don't want them looking at me while im sleep. that might sound weird. lol
